Can you see?

By Amanda  Hunter

Can you see your mummy smile
As she sits and thinks of you?
Her heart now knows, her girl's at peace,
And it stops her feeling blue.

Her mind shows you dancing merrily,
With your arms thrown up in the air
While she softly sings the lullabies,
That once you both did share.

She wont let her heart be saddened,
Regardless of  pain thats felt.
While she works to release the anger at
The hand that you were dealt.

Instead she remembers the good times
The joys that outshone pain.
The pride of being your mother,
And the memories that remain

She never lets a day go by
Without a whisper in your ear.
Telling  you she loves you still.
She Always feels you near.

Can you see your mummy smile,
As she sits and thinks of you?
With the bond you share so deep with her,
She knows your smiling too!
