I have set up this website in memory of my beautiful little girl,
Ayla is my Very special little girl. She was born on 28th June 2008. She was born with a Bilateral Cleft Palate & Lip, but most sadly, she was born with a Congenital Heart Defect.
She was a very brave little lass, always alert and making Mummy & Daddy very proud. After 2 weeks in the Neonatal Unit in Edinburgh, she was transferred to Yorkhill Hospital in Glasgow. It was here she underwent major heart surgery at only a few weeks old.
The surgery went well and Ayla seemed to be taking it in her stride, still giving mum and dad lots of reasons to smile through the heartache, while we sat with our precious angel in Intensive Care.
Sadly, Aylas time on earth came to an end on 30 July 2008, when she passed peacefully in her Mummy and Daddys arms, and of course, cuddling Pink Teddy!!
